Presidents serve the people.
The people do not serve presidents.
Power of the People is a President’s Day protest rooted in a simple truth: in a democracy, power is of the people, by the people, and for the people — power is not to be wielded by any singular office, party, or individual at the expense of indignity.
We gather to affirm:
- That leadership is service, not entitlement.
- That no office outranks human dignity.
- That none of us are free until all of us are free.
- That accountability is not radical — it is democratic.
Our Commitment
This is a peaceful, nonviolent public gathering.
We ask all participants to help maintain a calm, respectful, and grounded presence.
Our strength is in care, courage, and community.
